OGDEN, UT - Kathryn Devlin Loffredo, 86, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 1, 2011.She was born in Ogden, Utah on September 26, 1924, a daughter of James Devlin and Catherine McDonald Devlin.
She married John P. Loffredo on March 18, 1946 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Ogden, Utah.
She was reared and educated in Ogden, Utah and graduated from Ogden High School in 1942.
During World War II she was employed by the Federal Government as an editor in the quartermaster supply section, Utah General Depot. She was a member and served as president of the Reserve Officers Association Ladies Club, Promoters of the Sacred Heart League, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, shopping, Jazz games and traveling with her children.
Surviving are two sons, and three daughters; Joseph James, Ogden, Utah and John Michael (Laura) Skillman, New Jersey, Cathy Ann, Tucson, Arizona, Camille, Layton, Utah, Joan, Salt Lake City, Utah. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and one due in June; Lisa (Tyler Nealson), Jenny, Jody (Matthew Lindley), Matthew, Anthony (Jennifer), Alexis R., Julia K.,Thomas J., Samantha, Joshua, Sage, Connor, Boston, Noelle, and Abigal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son (Anton), grandchild (Heidi) and eleven siblings.
