George Pulusi Unutoa - 4/23/2009

Class of 1980

George Pulusi Unutoa passed away peacefully at home on April 23rd after a long courageously fought battle with various health issues.

George was born on April 13, 1961 in Aua, American Samoa. His parents were Pulusi Letoa and Ponaivao Fonoti Unutoa. He attended Ben Lomond High School, Ogden UT.

He met his sweetheart Bonni Elwell Unutoa at the Ramada Inn in Ogden. They married June 4, 1983.

He was preceded in death by his sister Lusiana Unutoa and father Pulusi Unutoa. He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years Bonni, their children Dymond (fiancé Tracy), Brent, Alisha and Christine Unutoa; his mother Ponaivao, his brother Diamond Unutoa, and numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

George Unutoa, beloved husband, father and brother lived a sweetly fulfilled life full of compassion, love, and caring. Serving our community he helped change lives of troubled youth and showed positive change is possible.

Surrounded by four loving kids, George and Bonni built a family strong in morals and values established by their Lord Jesus Christ. George treasured his time with his kids and wife no matter where or when. He lived for them.

His enjoyment came with card games, and conversing about life. Alone time was spent in deep thought as he tried to master Sudoku challenges with his dog Dino at his side.

The life he lived was felt and spread to more people than he will ever know. Good job Dad, you did great!
