Mycheal James Williams - 4/17/2009

Class of 1980

Mycheal James Williams passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 17, 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts after a short battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Mycheal was born October 21, 1961 in Ogden Utah to Henry J. & Roberta Hood Williams. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1980. Mycheal married Janine Tibault on May 5, 1982. During this union, 3 children were born. They were later divorced. Mycheal joined the United States Army in 1983. He recently served two tours of duty in Iraq. He received numerous awards and medals during his military career. The National Defense Service Medal, Global war on Terrorism Service Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal w/Bronze Service Star, just to name a few. The Meritorious Service Medal will be posthumously awarded to Mycheal.

Mycheal met Jody Farinelli in December of 2005. They became engaged in September
2006. Jodi was his loving companion, and cared for Mycheal during his illness.

Mycheal had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandmother. He was an avid fisherman, loved to bar-b-que and enjoyed bad horror movies. He also loved to play Dominos and Spades. Mycheal also had a love for fine clothes.

Mycheal was a loving father, son and brother. And a good friend to many. He was always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.

Mycheal is survived by his mother, Roberta H.Williams, Ogden; father, Henry J. Williams, Los Angeles; three sons, Dayne (Tanisha), Mayson and Jonah and one daughter, Aja (Hugo). He is also survived by two brothers, David (Benetta) and Mark (Tracy), and three grandchildren, JeLaiah, Haizell and Savyon. Also surviving Mycheal are his grandmother, Jenny Hood and his fiance’ Jody Farinelli and her son Eric J. Page.
