Tony Skougaard - 1/21/2011

Class of 1992

Tony Martin Skougaard, age 36, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011, at his home in Washington, Utah.

He was born March 28, 1974, to Martin Skougaard and Dorene Christie.

He married Heidi Perez in 1995. They had four children, Rachel, Rykky, Reilley and Raivyn. After Tony and Heidi divorced he married Leah Scarborough in 2002. They had Tony’s fifth child, Seth. They divorced in 2010.

Tony was most proud of being a dad. He loved his kids more than anything else in his life. He was a family man before all else. He loved Sunday dinners with his mom and sister and was known to all his family and friends as a master in the kitchen. Tony was also very proud of his membership in B.A.C.A. Bikers Against Child Abuse. He loved everything they stood for and especially enjoyed riding his Harley in the many rides they sponsored.

Tony is survived by his parents, Martin Skougaard of Cedar City, UT, and Dorene Sisson of Washington, UT; his children, Rachel Perez, Rykky Perez, Reilley Perez, all of St. George, UT, Raivyn Skougaard of Washington, UT, and Seth Skougaard of St. George; sister, Stefanie Maples of St. George; brothers, M. Adam Skougaard of Cedar City, UT, Lee Sisson of Washington, UT and Allyn Sisson of Ventura, CA; granddaughter, Tosha Perez; niece, Matahna Maples; step-parents, Shelly Skougaard of Cedar City, UT and Les Sisson of Washington, UT. There are too many extended family and friends to list, but Tony loved them all.

He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Jami Skougaard from Cedar City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George.
