Rulon Judd Nelson, age 68, passed away Saturday, 1 May 2010, of cancer in Fresno, California. He was born to Jonathan Pratt and Polly Abigail Judd Nelson in St. George, June 23, 1941.He served an LDS Mission to Central America. He met his wife Joan Willis while she was teaching at Woodward Junior High. They were married in June of 1968 in the St. George Temple.
He is survived by his wife Joan, sons Jonathan (Tamara), Zadok, and daughter Jennifer (Layton) Jones, and 11 grandchildren, all of Madera, California, sisters, Bernice Pickett and Valeen Empey (Lew Mar), both of St. George, brother Kenneth (Nancy) of St. George, and Don S. Nelson (Esther) of Springville, Utah. He was preceded in death by daughter, Sarah, his parents and five sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held Thursday, 10 May 2010, in Madera, California.
