Kenneth "Kenny" Snow - 6/29/2009

Class of 1979

Kenny Snow, of St. George, Utah, age 60, died Sunday, June 29, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident in Milllard County, Utah. He was born May 16, 1949 in St. George, Utah, to Chester K. and Agnes Frei Snow.

He attended West Elementary, graduated from Dixie High School, and Dixie College in St. George, Utah. He attended Weber State College and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Accounting. Kenney was a star 1st baseman for OP Skaggs Little League Team and All-Star Teams, and was also a member of the "Whizkids", a halftime basketball performance group. Kenny played baseball and basketball in high school

Kenny had a very successful career in the banking industry in Salt Lake City, and after 30 years retired for health reasons. He enjoyed living back in St. George, where he has rekindled some old friendships. He loved to fish and hunt and won many trips and vacations. He and Rena enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. He had a very charming personality and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his parents; his wife, Rena Elizabeth Page Snow, of Stayton, Oregon; daughter, Paige Elizabeth Snow, of Salt Lake City; sister, Jerri (John) Esplin, serving in the Nairobi, Kenya Mission; brother Kevin Lee (Cheryl) Snow, Salt Lake City, UT; numerous nieces and nephews. He had a very close relationship with his daughter, Paige, and his brother Kevin and wife Cheryl, and their family.
