Wilson Kenneth Shoell, 67, of Vineyard passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2001 in Idaho Falls as a result of a traffic accident.He was born Oct 27, 1934 in Orem, UT to Pres-ton and Mary Wilson Shoell. He married Norma Anderson and to-gether had five children. They were later di-vorced.

Ken grew up in Lindon and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1952. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Europe. He later served an LDS Mission to England. Ken worked in the tire industry for many years and most people remember him while employed at Sav-age Bros. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially riding and caring for his horses. Ken was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings.
He is survived by five children, Kris (Todd) Richardson, Sandy, Kevin (Shelly) Shoell, Sandy, Maxine Shoell, Salt Lake, Jeanette (Mike) De La Mare, Salt Lake, Brian (Kelly) Shoell, Logan; 19 grandchildren; sister, Gay-lene (Richard) Ellis, Idaho Falls; and brother, George (Gaye) Shoell, Pleasant Grove.
Services will be held Tues. Nov 27, 2001, 3 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 S. 300 E, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and Tues. one hour prior to services. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
