Class of 1940

OGDEN (Utah)- Beth Hooley Clark was called home by her Father in Heaven for a reunion with her husband Vurl and three sons, Chal, Kim and Craig, August 21, 2002. Beth was born in Lindon, Utah, on February 4, 1922. She attended Pleasant Grove High School where she was school vice president. She married Vurl L. Clark on December 12, 1940 and later solemnized their marriage in 1942 at the Salt Lake City Temple. Beth had a great love for children and the LDS Church, which led to many callings. She served in the Primary, Junior Sunday School, Mutual and Relief Society in her ward and stake. Beth and Vurl enjoyed traveling and dancing together. Beth also enjoyed golf and Jazz Basketball. She loved butterflies, the color pink, shopping and lunch with her granddaughter, Valarie, the joy of her life. I love you Grammy. Happy memories and love held by her special neighbors and many friends will go forward with her. Thank you to Ken Palmer and the medical staff that cared for her.
