Harold K. Newman, 62, of Pleasant Grove passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at his home. Harold was born December 12, 1948 in American Fork to Glen B and Marion Greening Newman.Harold grew up in Pleasant Grove and attended schools there, graduating from Pleasant Grove High in 1967 where he lettered in all three sports. Harold worked for UP&L for his entire life, retiring after 35 years of service. Harold was a gifted vocalist and enjoyed performing at various functions and events throughout the state. He was devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. His greatest joy in life was time spent with his family and was so proud of his grandkids.
He is survived by his three daughters: Cassie (Chad) Wagenman, Pleasant Grove; Angela (Tibb) Sanchez, Coeur d’alene, Idaho and Marianna Greenland, Coeur d’alene, Idaho; ten grandchildren; siblings: Lynn Newman, Sharon Newman, Charlotte Gilbert and Rick Newman.
