James W. Brimhall 1932 ~ 2004James Wesley Brimhall passed away May 5, 2004 due to a stroke.
He was born April 9, 1932 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Rulon Wells Brimhall and Ida Hone.
He married Roselyn Vera Burton on August 11, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple.
They have three children: Wesley (Michelle), Boise, Idaho; Nathan (Heidi), South Jordan; and Genevieve Springer (Roland); Washington, D.C.; and 10 grandchildren.
James was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. He was a member of the Oratorio Society of Utah for many years and enjoyed singing the Messiah every Christmas. He wrote many poems that are cherished by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, three brothers, Willis (Lynette), Eugene (Judy), Norman (Marsha), and two sisters, Louise Hansen (Uwe) and Deanna Cutlet (Wayne).
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 10, 12:00 p.m. at the South Cottonwood 2nd Ward, 981 E. Revere Circle (5600 S.).
Family and friends may visit Sunday night at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, from 6-8 p.m., and on Monday from 11:00-11:45 prior to services.
Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
