Ardell Peterson Crompton, age 77, returned home to her Heavenly Father, Friday, September 17, 2004, due to complications after heart surgery. She was born February 24, 1927, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to William and Sylvia Peterson. Ardell married her sweetheart, Jay Lindy Crompton, on December 17, 1945. They are the parents of Mary Jeanne (Craig) Greene and Connie (Jack) Brems. Ardell has left a legacy of love, caring, and beautiful memories. More than anything, she loved being with her family and sharing in their lives. She loved serving in her most recent church calling as a temple worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. She was a great example and friend to all, and will be deeply missed. Ardell was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eileen (Lynn) Peck; brother, Lynn Peterson; and great grandson, Drake Greene. She is survived by her husband, Jay; and their two daughters; brother, Kay (Mona) Peterson; and sister, Mary Crook; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m. September 22, 2004, at the American Fork 1st Ward Chapel (381 South 300 East). A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. September 21, 2004, at Anderson & Sons Mortuary (49 East 100 North, American Fork); and, from 9:45-10:45 a.m., September 22, prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in American Fork Cemetery.There have been 0 fuzzies left so far.
