Dolores West Green Argyle Wendte, 80, of Lindon passed away Friday, October 19, 2007. She was born February 13, 1927, the youngest of ten children, to Lester Gay and Margaret Foutz Walker West. She married Elwood Dunn Green in 1946 and together had three children. Elwood passed away in 1958. She married Morell Argyle in 1960. He passed away in 1974. She married Morris Wendte in 1976. He passed away in 2004.Dolores grew up in Lindon on the family farm. She moved to Pleasant Grove and attended schools there, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in 1945. Dolores raised her family in Pleasant Grove. In 1975 she moved to Anchorage, Alaska and resided there until 2004.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in Stake Primary, Relief Society, and as a worker in the Anchorage Temple.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, where she bagged two bears in one day. Dolores spent many hours oil painting and working in her gardens.
She is survived by two children: Sherry Aucoin, Lindon; and Elwood Craig (Stephanie) Green, Pleasant Grove; eight grandsons: Brett, Brian, and Darren Lloyd, Jeffery, Jeremy, Jonathan, Derek, and Bryson Green and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Alan Green and granddaughter, Kayla Green.
