Kenneth F. Sorenson, 79, died peacefully at home on January 5, 2009. He was born in Eureka, Utah to Floyd R and Ruth F Sorenson on July 13, 1929. Shortly after his birth, the family moved back to their original home in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He lived his entire life in Pleasant Grove, with the exception of two years (1950-51) when he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. When his two-year tour of duty was completed, he received an honorable discharge. He was employed for 39 years at Questar (formerly Mountain Fuel Supply), and he retired in 1991.He is survived by three children, Mary Lin Sorenson, Gaylan J Sorenson, and Mark W Sorenson. All three reside in Pleasant Grove. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one brother, Larry Sorenson, of Pleasant Grove, three sisters, Betty Rose and Linda Bowers of Pleasant Grove and Lois Combest who lives in Oregon.
