Geneva Rodeback Peterson, age 87 of Lehi, Utah, passed away Dec. 29, 2000, at the Golden Living Center in Orem, Utah. She was born July 17, 1913, in Lindon, Utah, the daughter of James Henry and Pearl Geneva Cobbley Rodeback. She married Charles Amos Peterson on Feb. 5, 1930, in Provo, Utah. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in Sept. 1940. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1996.
Geneva was a member of the LDS Church where she served in all organizations. She worked nine years in the Provo Temple with her husband Charles. She enjoyed oil painting, rock hunting, four wheeling, and numerous family activities.
Survived by 1 son and 3 daughters, Blake R. (Shelly) Peterson, Lehi; Janet P. (Lee) Drake, Salt Lake City; Luana (Valdean) Hadfield, Ogden; Marilyn (Clint) Gillman, Lindon; 28 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles R. (Ila) Rodeback, Lindon; 2 sisters, Beulah Calton, Cedar Fort; Veloy (Earl) Pulley, Lindon. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Charles Lyle Peterson.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at 1100 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
