Bliss Jarvis Brimley Hansen 1926 ~ 2014 Bliss Jarvis Brimley Hansen, 87, of Provo passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2014. Bliss was born June 11, 1926 in Spanish Fork to Samuel P and Hannah Shepherd Jarvis. She married Don E Brimley on April 19, 1945. Don passed away in 1990. She married Ronald G Hansen on June 26, 1993. Bliss grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. She worked for many years as a Legal Secretary. Bliss was a devoted member of the LDS Church and was an avid genealogist. She served faithfully in many callings including Stake Relief Society President. Bliss was a selfless, loving and compassionate person who always put the needs of others first. She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Hansen, Provo. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Provo; daughter, Judy (Gary) Ridge, Pleasant Grove; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew raised as her own 3 children. 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild: Karen Maxfield, San Diego; David (Veronna) Jarvis, Provo and Patricia (Craig) Nielsen, Pleasant Grove and brother, Gary Jarvis, Monroe, Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove East Stake Center, 825 South Loader Drive, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to service.
