Lisa Jorgensen Adamson - 3/10/2012

Class of 1978

Lisa Jorgensen Adamson
February 26, 1960 ~ March 10, 2012
On February 28, 2012, Lisa suffered a severe brain aneurism resulting in major health complications. On March 10, 2012 she lost her battle and returned to live with her Heavenly Father.

Lisa was born February 26, 1960 in American Fork, Utah to Marvin and Lois Jorgensen. She was raised in Pleasant Grove with her nine siblings. She attended Pleasant Grove High School where she was Head Cheerleader, graduating in 1978.

Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart Myron Adamson and together raised three beautiful children.

Lisa spent most of her childhood playing outdoors and as an adult never missed an opportunity for a camping trip. She inherited her father’s artistic talent and love for nature and incorporated both in her beautiful oil paintings. She loved tap dance and kept a scrapbook of every performance.

Lisa loved to laugh and make others laugh and was quick to point out the humor of everyday life.

She loved being with family and loved to spoil her six grandkids. Lisa will live forever in the hearts of many.

She is survived by her husband Myron of Pleasant Grove; three children; Brad Adamson, Pleasant Grove; Aubrey (Jesse) Johnson, Eagle Mountain and Kirstin (Steve) Peterson, Pleasant Grove; six grandchildren; mother, Lois Jorgensen, Pleasant Grove; siblings: Maurene (Randy) Worthington, Darlene (Del) Scott, Becky (Vaughn) Boulter, Julie (Ken) Clark, Anita (Dave) Rose, Kent (Dusty) Jorgensen, Mark Jorgensen, Marie (Mark) Balcer and Chris (Brighton) Jorgensen. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Jorgensen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Timpanogos First Ward Chapel, 315 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at UVRMC ICU for their kind care of Lisa over the past two weeks.
