Thomas Sutch - 10/1/1994

Thomas Roy Sutch, 44, of Pleasant Grove, died October 1, 1994, at the American Fork Hospital.

He was born November 2, 1949, in American Fork, Utah, to Robert and Mildred Bezzant Sutch. He married Debbra Nan Lee August 15, 1969 in Lindon, Utah. They were later divorced. He married Deborah Diane Sharp June 8, 1976 in the Manti LDS Temple, Manti, Utah. They were later divorced.

Tom was educated in Pleasant Grove schools. He loved sports and played first base on little league, pony league and Pleasant Grove High School teams. He was a member or the high school chorus and placed in region competition in the duet category. He was a member of the high school ski team and dance director for his junior prom. He attended Utah State University and Dixie College. He played baseball on the Dixie College team.

He was an EMT for the Pleasant Grove Ambulance Association and also in Cortez, Colorado. He served as a police officer for Lindon City; Cortez, Colorado; Delores, Colorado; and the Utah County Sheriff's office. He worked for the Colorado State Parks and Timpanogos Cave National Monument and various other jobs. He loved to camp, hunt and fish. He loved to spend time with his children.

He is survived by his mother, Pleasant Grove; his children: Jeremy (Gaylynn) Sutch-Williams of West Jordon, Angila Lee (Neil) Sebring of Orem, Jessica NeKai Sutch and Cory Eugene Sutch of Cortez, Colorado; a brother, Robert L. (Cindy) Sutch, and a sister, Susan (Jack) Crannell, both of Pleasant Grove. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sutch.
