Linda Lindstrom - 10/16/2018

Class of 1969

Linda Lindstrom, 67, of Salt Lake City passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2018. Linda was born August 23, 1951 in American Fork, Utah, the first-born of Charles Smith and Carma Mae Gray Lindstrom. She grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1969. She attended Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She later received an MBA from the University of Utah. Linda spent her entire career in service to the Veterans Administration in Salt Lake City. Linda lived a very full life. She loved to travel and visited every state in the Union and many foreign countries. Linda was an avid runner for more than 40 years and ran marathons throughout Utah and many states. Linda played the piano, the banjo, the fiddle and the ukulele. She was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers and played at many events. Linda loved to do genealogy and researched many family lines and wrote many family histories. Linda was a kind-hearted person and would help wherever needed. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her four siblings: Lee Lindstrom, Charlotte (Fred) Jepsen, Carla (Dale) Millar, Lynn Lindstrom and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may attend a visitation Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
