Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Wed., July 2, 2003 of respiratory failure following an extended illness.She was born February 18, 1939 in Pleasant Grove to Byron and Maud Davis Adamson. She married Keith Brown on March 7, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was a secretary at Grovecrest Elementary for 20 years and was dearly loved by staff and students. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings, most recently in the Relief Society Presidency of the Alpine Valley Care Center, which brought her great joy. She was active in the Grovecreek Camp of D.U.P. and was a docent in the Pioneer Museum. She was a very loving and caring person that devoted her time to her family and friends, most importantly her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of Pleasant Grove, her two children; Jana (Mike) Nordness, Rockdale WI, Jim (Marjorie) Brown, Lake Shore. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Jessica, Justin, Matthew, Christopher, Taylor, Alisa, and Camille, a brother, Arlen (Janice) Adamson, a sister, Virginia (Leo) Ault, and sisters-in-law; Monty Jean (Dean) Alvord, and Barbara Brown Sharpe. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Grant, Nyle and Boyd and one sister; Mariam West.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grove Ward Chapel, 400 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East Pleasant Grove and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
