Dennis Everett Wilde - 12/25/2015

1935 ~ 2015
Salt Lake City, UT-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Dennis Everett Wilde returned to his Heavenly Father on Christmas Day at the age of 80, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 27, 1935 in Oakley Utah to William Everett and Marie Miller Wilde. He grew up in Oakley, Lovell, Wyoming, and Pleasant Grove, UT. He served an LDS mission in New Zealand. Dennis married Joan Wallace Oct 17, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. They resided in Salt Lake City where Dennis was employed by the LDS Church for 40 years. He was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings. He enjoyed reading, spending time with his family, and youth sports, especially church ball and little league football.
Dennis is survived by his wife Joan, son Scott, daughters Shaunna Snow (Paul) and Terrie Keck (Karl), Daughter-in-law Teresa Francis Wilde, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, and sister Ranae Howe. Preceded in death by his parents, his son Gary, sister Delores and brothers-in-law Calvin Sandberg and Noel Howe.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30th, 2015 at noon at the Crystal Heights 2nd ward, 1970 East Stratford Ave. (2500 South), Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may visit family Tuesday, December 29th from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East. There will be a viewing at the church prior to services from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Church Humanitarian Fund or a .
