Our beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away Sunday morning at 6:00am after suffering a brain hemorrhage earlier in the week.He was born on February 15th, 1930 in Park City Utah to Archie King and Ada Ross Loader. Archie grew up in Pleasant Grove Utah. He attended Pleasant Grove High School and graduated from Utah Technical College with an Associate‚s degree in Electronics. He served two tours of duty in the United States Army before and during the Korean War. He worked several years at Geneva Steel upon his discharge from the Army. As a young married man he moved his family to Monterey California where he opened and ran an electronics business for 40 years. He moved back to Provo in 1993 to help take care of his mother in the last few years of her life. While in Provo he worked for Provo City. He married Ida Ferguson in 2003 and enjoyed his last years with her which he termed "the most wonderful time of my life".
Archie is survived by his wife Ida, Their children Randy, Mark, Robin, Paris, Alan, Tory, Kara, Dannika, Kerry, Ann, and Dana, his brothers Melvin and Conrad and his sister Mavis. Archie and Ida leave a combined legacy of 36 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
