Rose Harper Baird 8/21/1920 - 6/9/2006Rose Harper Baird passed away peacefully on June 9, 2006, at the Hazen Care Center in West Valley City where she had resided since January 2005. Born to Clifton and Emma Hunger Harper of Pleasant Grove, UT. She was the fourth child of eight, having two brothers surviving her, Boyd and Darrell. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove and graduated from high school there. She married the love of her life, Harold Richard Baird on Jan. 22, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had three boys, Alan, Ray and Mark. They have lived in the Kearns area for the past 50 years, where she served in many Church callings over the years including Relief Society President of the Kearns 5th Ward. She is survived by her husband Harold Richard Baird, sons Alan and Ray (Gretchen), grandchildren, Stephanie, Johanna Rose Luckau, (Jonathan Breck) and great-grandson Austin Kenneth Baird. Services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kearns 4th Ward, 4232 West 5015 South. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the Ward building. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens. Our thanks go out to all those special people who have helped us care for our loving wife and mother over the past years.
