Stanley T. Williamson, 82, of Pleasant Grove passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 of complications from heart surgery. Stan was born July 2, 1926 in Pleasant Grove to Hans and Ida Mae Christiansen Williamson. While stationed in Japan, he met Toyoko Kajiwara and together had a daughter, Kay. He married Beverly Wootton and together had three children. Beverly passed away in 1998. He married Ann Bezzant in 1979.Stan grew up in Pleasant Grove and Vernon, Utah. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corp in post-war Japan. Stan had a great love for guns and was an expert in early American cartridges. He loved to be in his gardens and enjoyed growing and grafting fruit trees and sharing the bounty with family, friends, and neighbors. Stan had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his wife Ann of Pleasant Grove; four children: Kay (Roger) Pennington, Hawaii; Sharon Williamson, Menan, ID; Nena (Scott) Harris, Rigby, ID; Caroline Newman, CA; brother, Richard (Nancy) Williamson, American Fork; sister, Dorothy Damico, Springville and many loving grandchildren and step-children. He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Paul Williamson and daughter, Christine Froggett.
