Born February 22, 1949, to Ray Alexander and Alice Sweat Deveraux. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and later joined the United States Army; serving three tours in Vietnam. His service was recognized by being awarded a Bronze Star, Silver Star, two Purple Hearts, National Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Infantry Badge, Vietnam Campaign, Army Commendation, and Vietnam Service Medals. He loved belonging to the Vietnam Veteran's Motorcycle Club and American Legion. Eight years ago, he moved to Puerto Vallarta, where he lived out his dreams. He loved it there and made many friends. Norman Don Deveraux died Monday, April 7, 2014, in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. He was 65.
