LaVeda Rae Frampton, 86, of Pleasant Grove Utah, passed away at home on December 15, 2016. She was born December 3, 1930 in Hershey, Nebraska to Arthur and Evelyn Friedley. She married Howard Calvin Frampton on February 29, 1948. They were later sealed February 28, 1958 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1948. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She worked many years as a Recreational Therapist at Alpine Valley Care Center and was greatly adored there.
She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, gardening, and genealogy work. In her earlier years, she spent much of her time traveling and camping. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, including playing card games and fulfilling the role of “most avid fan” at family Super Bowl parties.
She is survived by her son Calvin (Cindy) Frampton; grandchildren: Katie Frampton, Jenny (Jorge) Alcantara , Brandon Frampton, Nicole (Garrett) Holz, Heather (Tucker) Little, Mindy Durr, Jason Durr, and Amanda Durr; great-grandchildren: Alex, Marisol, Joaquin, Anberlin, Cameron, Cyrus, Aria, Aiden, and Lily. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Calvin, daughter Jackie, brother Eldo, and her parents Arthur and Evelyn.
