Anna Ruby Bell Lane, 75, of Provo, passed away May 8, 2010. Anna was born April 24, 1935 to James and Maud Clement Bell in Fairview, UT. She lived in Calif. until 1981 when she and E. K. and 4 of her children moved back to UT. Anna met E. K. (Eldwin) Lane the love of her life, they were married on Sept. 6, 1968. They raised 6 sons and 2 daughters; a real life yours, mine and ours family.Although Anna has worked as needed, for most of her life she was a stay at home mom. Anna was an avid reader as most know by her extensive book collection; she also loved crafts of all kinds, bowling and golf.
Anna is survived by 8 children: Jeff Selmos, Carman (Gordon) King, Delwin Lane, Anne (Tim) Parker, James (Wendy) Selmos, Steve (Jana) Lane, Ed Lane, Jerry (Linda) Lane; 30 grandchildren and 17, ¾, and ½ great-grandchildren; siblings: Yvonne (Bob) Graham, Jean Bell and Dewey Bell. Anna is preceded in death by her husband E.K. Lane and two grandsons, Shane King and Timmy Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thurs, May 13, 2010 at the Manila 1st Ward Chapel, 3396 N. 900 W., PG. Friends may call Wed. May 12, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center Street, and also on Thurs. 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Manila 1st Chapel for viewing and family gathering prior to the services. Interment will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 500 N. 100 W.
