Julie Colledge Taylor, 61, of Pleasant Grove passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 after a valiant two year battle with cancer. Julie was born October 5, 1959 in American Fork, Utah to Ivan Joseph and Fern Carlson Colledge. She married Craig Davis and together had two sons: Cody and Jordan. They were later divorced. She married Jeff Taylor in 1997 and gained three more children: Kendra, Tyson, and Breanna.Julie grew up in Pleasant Grove and attended Pleasant Grove High School and especially enjoyed watching the championship wrestling teams. She later attended Snow College for two years. Julie loved spending time in the outdoors camping and fishing with family and friends. Julie loved spoiling her grandchildren and was a dedicated member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3372 in Pleasant Grove. She was the Secretary of the Eagles for 10 years and enjoyed all her associations with the members throughout the state. Julie worked at the Utah State Developmental Center for nearly 40 years and loved the people she cared for so much.
She is survived by her husband Jeff of Pleasant Grove; five children: Cody (Lia) Davis, Jordan (Maggie) Davis, Kendra (JD) Longman, Tyson (Des) Taylor and Breanna (Jose) Carreno; 10 grandchildren: Jackson, Ella, JR, Mariah, Sage, Aaliyah, Eleyna, Mya and two grandbabies on the way: Shade and Lilly; siblings: Carolyn Gurney and Brent (Marcy) Colledge. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Gene, Craig and Mark Colledge.
Family and friends may attend a viewing for Julie, Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 5 -7 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are REQUIRED. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
