Steven Roberts - 8/29/2007
Class of 1970
Steven Edward Roberts, 55, passed away August 29, 2007. He fought a courageous battle against MS and most recently depression. Steven was born September 29, 1951 in Pleasant Grove. He was the second of nine children born to Edward and Thiele A. Roberts. His ambition led him to earn a pilot's license while still in high school. Steve served a Spanish speaking mission for the LDS Church in Miami, Florida. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business from BYU.
Steve was well known for his quirkiness and shenanigans. He was selfless and kind, always putting others first. Steve would lite up the room with his infectious laughter and positive attitude; he whistled constantly - often making it up as he went and never on key.
Steven's joy and happiness came greatly from his family and grandchildren. He was a proud supportive father to his three daughters and son, and a loving grandfather to his two grandsons and two granddaughters. No family has ever been more loved.
Steve led by example and expressed unconditional love for others. He will always have a place in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife; Elda, children; Robin, Rori (Doug), Tristan (Cory) and Rhett, also grandchildren; Carter, Morgan, Tyler and Cash, his parents, three brothers and four sisters, he was preceded in death by his older brother.
