Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, age 38, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father's presence on May 6, 1997, after a valiant five year battle with cancer.
Annette was born to Andrew J and Donna Louise Woodbury Wall on March 21, 1959 in American Fork, Utah and was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She attended Brigham Young University where she met her husband, James K. Sorenson through the Air Force ROTC program. They were united in marriage at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, August 24, 1985. She was the mother of three children: Andrew R. Sorenson, Karen R. Sorenson (8), Elizabeth G. Sorenson (5).
Annette was a talented singer and excellent in her sewing skills, which she greatly enjoyed. Her greatest joy in life was being with and raising her children and providing a loving home for her husband and children.
Annette touched the lives of many people in her short life with her positive attitude and smile. Those who knew her were made better through her courage and example. She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew (at 4 months), and her mother, Donna.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Karen and Elizabeth Sorenson, Clearfield, UT; father, Andrew J Wall , Pleasant Grove; sisters, Paula Jackson, Danville, CA; Kathy Robertson, West Jordan; Rebbeca Strupp, Lonedell, MO; brothers, Scott Wall , Boise, ID; David Wall , Glendale, AZ; George Wall , Bountiful.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, 1997 at the Clearfield South Stake Center, 2186 So. 125 W., with Bishop Robert Howell, officiating. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Linquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd. and Friday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park, 4800 Memory Lane.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to all her many friends and medical professionals who have assisted Annette and the family throughout her illness, and difficult times.
