BERNICE ADAMSON
Bernice Adamson, 78, died on January 25, 2004 at home, surrounded by her children.
She was born in Castle Gate, Utah on October 4, 1925 to Rhoda T. Hreinson and Christian Hreinson. She had eight siblings.
She is survived by her brother Chris; sisters, Freda and Loa Mae; children; step-children; nieces; nephews; grand- children and great-grandchildren.
Mom married Max Johnson on April 12, 1945. They had four children, Rex, Kathleen, Jackie and Kent. Max died April 29, 1969.
Mom married Bill Adamson on January 21, 1972. Bill died in May of 1998. Mom graduated from Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1946. She was proud being a registered nurse. She retired from Holy Cross Hospital in 1983, to pursue her second career in golf, travel and entertainment. She was very independent. She always spoke her mind and did her best to have everyone leave laughing.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 29th, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12 noon, following graveside services, at the Benvegnu Center, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1375 E Spring Lane, Holladay. Food and drinks will be served. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the staff at Care Source Hospice. Their loving care of Mom made it possible for her to not leave home.
