Mary Alice Peterson Crook, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and special friend, died peacefully in her sleep on May 20, 2012 surrounded by her loving family in Salina, Utah.Mary was everyone's quiet hero who healed our wounded hearts, eased our burdens and encouraged our dreams. This beautiful, classy lady, will be missed more than we can express, but she will live on in our memories forever. We so love you Mary.
She was born April 18, 1936 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, a daughter of William and Sylvia Thornton Peterson. She married Preston Crook, June 6, 1958 in Pleasant Grove, Utah and they had three children: Christy Dawn, Preston Todd and Robert Wade.
She is survived by her daughter Christy Crook (Kim Sorensen); a grandson Zachary Roestenburg; several nieces, nephews and precious friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both of her sons.
A Celebration of her life for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the home of Marni Headman, 4078 West 12350 South in Springlake, Utah
