Marianne Hansen Hoagland - 10/10/2009

ST. GEORGE - Marianne Hansen Haogland, age 59, passed away October 10, 2009. Born April 1, 1950 in Richfield Utah, to Alvin Jay Hansen and LeahRae Washburn Hansen. She married John Henry Ford, January 19,1968, later divorced. Married Joseph D. Hoagland February 19, 1983

She grew up in Cedar City, Utah, where she graduated from Cedar High School. She married John and moved to Richfield where she attended Cosmetology school at Sevier Valley Technical College. She worked in Richfield as a Cosmetologist.

She was a gifted artist and shared her talents by designing many beautiful porcelain dolls that she shared with many friends and family. She spent countless hours on stitchery, embroidery, and hand made quilts, which she gave as gifts to children, sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. They will always cherish her loving gifts and unselfishness. She loved decorating cakes, for birthdays and weddings. Everything she touched seemed to turn to magic. She was truly a gifted artist.

She is survived by her sons, Randall Scott (Shannon), Eric Wayne (Nicole), Jeremy Dean (Mandee), and Tracy John (Miranda), seven grandchildren, three brothers; Michael Hansen (Mickie), Nathan Hansen (Karen), Kim (Helen), two sisters; Melanie Lathim (Bill), and Lauri Baumgartner (Brent). She is preceded in death by an infant son, Robert John, her mother & father and an older brother Eldon Scott Hansen.
