Our beautiful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Marsha Hulet Leeder, 63, passed away the afternoon of Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah surrounded by her loving family.Marsha was born December 5, 1946 in Cedar City, Utah – the second of five children born to Rex Jones and Lois Cripps Hulet. She was raised primarily in Cedar City and also spent her early childhood in Flagstaff, Arizona, Modena and Summit, Utah. She attended school in Cedar City and graduated from Cedar High and attended Southern Utah University.
She married Charles Leeder on April 10, 1965 in Kannarraville, Utah. They had three children Cade, Shad and JoAnn. Throughout their marriage they lived in Kannarraville and New Harmony before she relocated to Cedar City. The last several years of her life she worked in the Athletics Department of Southern Utah University and also at Lin’s Marketplace with many people she cared about very much.
Marsha’s most important calling in life was always as a mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She adored her family and relished every moment she could spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she adored with all her heart.
Mom enjoyed her home, her yard and her love of NASCAR racing – and spent many hours watching her two favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr.. She rarely met a stranger and enjoyed the countless friends and associations she made over her years at the University and Lin’s.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and in November 2009 she took out her endowments in the St. George LDS Temple.
We are certain a joyous reunion is taking place as Marsha is reunited and preceded in death by her mother, Lois and her brother Robert.
Marsha is survived by her children Cade (Evamarie) of Cedar City, Utah, Shad (Julie) of New Harmony, Utah and JoAnn (Jeff) Brunson of Cedar City, Utah. Her grandchildren Samantha, Tommy, Jessica, Amber, Austin, Ridge, Grady, Brantz, Kalee and Jacee. Great grandchildren Cadence and Chevy. Father Rex Hulet of Cedar City, Utah, brothers Mike (Barbara) Hulet of Cedar City, Utah, Paul Hulet of Grantsville, Utah, sister-in-law Donna Hulet of Enoch and sister Patricia (Craig) Anderson of Bunkerville, Nevada.
