Jennifer Lynn Davidson - 11/19/2000

Jennifer Lynn Davidson, a former Kingman resident, died Sunday Nov. 19, 2000, in Provo, Utah, in an auto-pedestrian accident. She was 23.

Miss Davidson was born May 9, 1977, in Moscow, Idaho. She was a Kingman High School graduate.

At the time of her death, she was studying speech pathology as a junior at Brigham Young University. In high school, she was a member of the cross country and track teams in which she was a four-time varsity letter winner; she was a two-time varsity letter winner in basketball. She earned the coach's award for her outstanding performance in track.

During her lifetime, she lived in Cottage Grove, Ore., Moscow, Idaho, Kingman and Burley, Idaho. She had worked for J.B.'s Restaurant, on the Burley Golf Course summer crew and had been a special education teacher's assistant at Burley Junior High School.

Miss Davidson was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, had received her Young Women's Award and served in the Santiago, Chili mission from June 1998 until November 1999. She played the piano, enjoyed ice fishing and was interested in genealogy and family history.

Miss Davidson is survived by; her parents, Richard and Kathy Davidson; four brothers, Jeff Davidson and Jason Davidson, both of Rexburg, Idaho, Bruce Davidson of Boise, Idaho, Robert Davidson of Minot, N.D.; two sisters, Heather Boyack of Orem, Utah, and Katy Hopkins of Salt Lake City, Utah; and two grandfathers, Archie Christensen of Fillmore, Utah, and Jack Davidson of Alhambra, Calif. She was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Edna Christensen and Jennie Davidson.
