GEORGIA ANN VENABLE - 3/17/2015

Class of 1964

What Precious Reunions Await Us In Heaven

"Jesus said... 'I AM [Myself] The Resurrection and The Life. Whoever believes in -- adheres to, trusts in, relies on and clings to -- Me, although he may die, yet he shall live.'"
-- John 11:25 (The Amplified Bible)

In Loving Memory of our Page High School Classmate, Class of 1964

Georgia Ann Venable (Lippert-Hart) pictured in 1962 as a PHS Sophomore

(Sister of Frances Venable '62, former wife of Dennis Lippert '62, & former sister-in-law of Russell Garner '60)

"I'm so sad to have to pass this message on to you. Georgia passed away at 4:20 a.m, March 17, 2015...viewing on Thursday, 6 to 8 pm, at the Leonard & Marker Funeral Home in Bixby, Oklahoma. Graveside Services at 2 pm on Friday in Bixby Cemetery. Georgia was a stunning very fun person...I was so fortunate to be able to have spent those moments with such a beautiful person. Those times, I know now just how special they were! And they were so much fun then."
-- Dennis Lippert '62 (Georgia's former husband)

Georgia turned 69 on March 3, 2015; her family was notified at 7 pm on Monday night, March 16, that she had slipped into a coma, and a Hospice lady was with her until 30 minutes before she passed away. Georgia's daughter, Sheila, and sister, Fran, (lookalikes), were with her from the time they were notified until 4:20 am, when she passed away on SAINT Patrick's Day, 14 days after her 69th birthday (she looked beautiful in green, and green is the color of immortality).

"Page Pioneer" Georgia Ann Venable, Page High School Class of 1964, helped to birth "America's Last Frontier" -- Page, Arizona.

She was born on March 3, 1946, in Liberty Mounds, OK, to her "Page Pioneer" parents, Ortha (Adams) Venable, and George Washington Venable, who predeceased her, along with her younger brother, Jerry Dale Venable '65.

Georgia will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister, and mother. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed life, was very friendly, and made friends easily. She was very intelligent and was a gifted writer.

In 1962-1963, her mother, Ortha, was a Kitchen Worker at Page High School.

VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH ORTHA VENABLE IN OKLAHOMA - July 1989. Georgia was also in this video interview, which took place after her automobile accident and resulting brain damage, when she was 39 in 1985. Her PHS classmates would probably not recognize her in this video, so it was assumed that they would choose to remember her the way she was in high school.

She was survived by her older sister, "Page Pioneer" Frances "Fran" Venable Garner Pierce '62 of Broken Arrow, OK; three daughters: Pamela Rose Lippert Elder of Flagstaff, Arizona, Sheila Ann Lippert (Eddie) Collins of Verdigris, OK, and Rhonda Kaye Lippert Apalategui of Page, AZ; a nephew and niece: Greg G. (Phoebe) Garner & Angela "Angie" Dale Venable; five grandchildren: Jorgia & Avery Elder, Spencer Collins, Morgan & Guy Apalategui; grand-nephew & grand-niece: Ryan Garner, Kaytlyn Garner; and former brother-in-law, Russell (Melva) Garner '60, several cousins and other relatives & friends.

In our Lord Jesus' Love,
In Love with our Lord Jesus,
The Resurrection and The Life,
